The end of the school year for schools on the traditional calendar for SDUSD is fast approaching and so is the fiscal year for majority PTA’s across all levels. As a fairly seasoned PTA volunteer, I thought it would helpful to ask a fellow PTA volunteer to share her thoughts on attending the California State PTA convention. This is the time where hopefully many of our PTA Units are in a transition period as they have elected the board for the 2016-2017 year. I am finishing up on the first year of my two-year term as the President for SDUCPTA.
